Supermodel down!!!!
After traveling the country as part of a British GQ op-ed piece for a number of weeks, Naomi Campbell has reportedly been hospitalized in Brazil.
Most recently, Miss Campbell interviewed Venezuelan president Hugo Chávez.
She is currently seeing an infectious disease specialist.
UPDATE: This just in — Naomi Campbell is currently undergoing uninvasive surgery to determine what exactly is wrong with her.
UPDATE: Naomi has been in the hospital since Sunday!!! This isn’t good….
UPDATE: A statement from the hospital says: “The patient and her advisers have determined that the hospital’s medical staff will not issue any formal or informal information on her medical condition.”
UPDATE: A rep for the runway diva says: “Naomi Campbell was admitted to hospital last night (February 25) to have a small cyst removed. Following the successful procedure, she is now resting and is looking forward to getting back to work. She would like to thank the doctors who have kindly looked after her.”

this woman is pure comedy gold whatever it is she got from Hollwood’s favorite dictator Hugo Chavez……somebody quick check Barbara Walters she loves dictators too.
She was interviewing Chavez for a magazine - thats why she was in Venezuela.
As for her hospitalisation in Brasil. Probably yellow fever - probably didn’t get her shot before she went.
this woman is a joke she has no credibility she should just stick to what she does best drugs, men, jail time and modeling.

That’s where alot of people go for plastic surgery, isn’t it? She’s getting up there in age……for a model, that is. She’s not 15-16-17 any more.
No one should care about her pain or illness because this is a woman who beats on any poor assitant that looks at her “funny”. I feel NOTHING for people like her who think they are all mighty and BETTER than anyone else and choose to pick on people who they feel are lower than them.
Been to Venezuela the middle class is non existant, is that what hollywood wants for us because they will always be rich. A poor person in this country is for the most part becaues o,f laziness, drug addiction, out of wedlock kids, illegal immigration, multiple islamic wives on the dole, illegall immigration depressing our living wages, jobs shipped overseas because of greedy corps; and not weaning us off OIL we buy from unfriendly countries.
That’s no good that she’s sick, especially in a foreign country where you don’t really know your bearings…but seriously Naomi….Karma is a bitch.
Getting sick while traveling anywhere south of the US border is no big surprise–happens all the time. She should know you can’t drink the water and need to be very careful what you eat and where you eat..
at least she got it from her favorite oppresive dictator.
