Photogs have finally exposed the worst-kept secret in Hollywood over the past few days — Paris Hilton is dating Benji Madden!
Seen Monday afternoon shopping together, the hot new couple’s public affection revealed their new-found feelings for each other. It seemed like just yesterday that socialite Paris was dating Simon Rex and tattooed rocker Benji was engaged to Australian beauty Sophie Monk. But in Hollywood, that’s a lifetime ago!!
Hilton and Madden were introduced through Nicole Richie and her boyfriend Joel (Benji’s twin brother) and now that the two are single, romantic fireworks have exploded. They’ve already traveled together (to St. Louis), shopped together, and even dined with Benji’s mom.
In light of the accelerated romance between the two, will Paris and Nicole’s kids be playing with each other next year?

It’s obviously a rebound on Benji’s part and a bit of publicity on Paris’s. Seriously Sophie must be spewing right now. It’s been like a week since they broke off their engangement and not only is he going out with someone else but that someone is Paris Hilton. Sophie has a million times better personality than Paris and in my opinion is better looking, even if she is a little chipmunkish.
