X Files reunion!!!!!

Attendees of the weekend-long event got their first glimpse of Fox’s currently untitled X-Files sequel which arrives in theaters on July 25.

David Duchovny just won a Golden Globe award for “other work.” Gillian Anderson has quite a few films she’s been in. Clearly, you have no clue what you’re talking about.

To say that they’re only doing this to get paid is grossly unfair. Obviously, you don’t understand how big X-Files were, how important to DD and GA’s careers and how much the show was/is adored by fans. I’ve been a hardcore X-Files fan since the beginning and I know that David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson obviously care about the characters. Duchovny was actually the one who approached Chris Carter and told him to get off his ass and write the project. I think he knew that if they waited any longer it would never happen.
On a side note, I just about hyperventilated to death watching the trailer this morning.

No I guess I don’t! Haven’t paid much attention to them since they left X-Files…. a show I LOVED and almost cried when it ended.
Jessyka: I understand all of those things and was even an X-Files fan back in the day. CC hasn’t done much of note since X-Files, and DD/GA have had some low-profile successes, but that about it. This just smacks of a few people cashing in on their greatest hits. Sometimes that can be good and sometimes that can be embarrassing. Hopefully, this is the former.
