Much props to the fiercely talented Daniel Day-Lewis for taking home the trophy for Best Actor at Sunday night’s 80th Annual Academy Awards on Sunday night.

While he may have taken home the prize for his acting chops, the same could not be said about his red carpet peformance.

And while the There Will Be Blood actor’s brown shoes and gold hoop earrings were truly unsightly, they didn’t compare to his wife Rebecca Miller’s opera singer dress - cobbled together with blood-red bows and shiny black baubles.

Luckily for these two, their bread and butter comes from their well-honed crafts and not the outfits they wear.
