The Volver actress and Best Foreign Film award presenter was a vision in feathers donning a Chanel couture gown.
They say prices for designer one-of-a-kinds can run up into the tens of thousands of dollars, and from the looks of it, every penny was worth it!

This dress is okay… although I would have preferred the material which is draping in the front to be draping in the back…. would have brought a better balance, and would be more pleasing aesthetically…

She should have taken the bottom long piece off and the dress would have looked much better. Boring.
The dress looked a lot prettier on TV than it does in this picture. It looks quite odd and unflattering from the front. It’s a beautiful color and I think her hair and makeup looks gorgeous but the dress itself reminds me a a little too much of drapes.
This HO has done the horizontal mambo with 50% of hollywood, she got their the old fashion way.

this dress is a disaster; it is too busy and incongruent, and it distracts from her lovely face. tho i love when random bloggers think they can validate bad fashion just because they’re gay-ish.
Is she with Javier or not??? They didn’t arrive together, or sit together during the ceremony (or did they?).
the dress is really unflattering. the way it drapes at her hips makes them look really wide
