Looking not so basic in black in Oscar de la Renta, a glammed up Jennifer Garner turns heads as she arrives at the 80th Annual Academy Awards at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday.
Meanwhile, resident Celebrity Fit Club whacko Gary Busey disrupted Ryan Seacrest’s red carpet interview with Jennifer, shouting at him — “Ryan Seacrest!” — and saying he needed to talk to him. Instead of what seemed like a confrontation in the making, Busey gave a surprised Garner a bear hug.
“That was very nice,” she said, but sported a look of panic and disgust. Ryan said, “I wanted to ask you…”
“About getting kissed on the neck on the red carpet at the Oscars?!” she said.
No, said Ryan, who managed to avoid interviewing Busey, telling him he’d see him at a party later. Instead, he asked Jennifer if hubby Ben Affleck (who was not with her) was going to go into politics.
Said Jennifer before scurrying off: “He’s going into the presidential race this week.”
