Country star SHANIA TWAIN accessorized her Grecian-inspired Monique Lhuillier gown with lots of diamonds and a contemporary take on the classic french twist at tonight’s 42nd Annual Academy Of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas. Meanwhile, ‘Heroes’ babe HAYDEN PANETTIERE kept her gown young and modern, going strapless and blingless at the 2007 Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills.

I have to give this one to Shania. I like the spaghetti straps, and teh dress makes Hayden look short, IMO.

I totally agree with parissucksliterally (ha, ha)…the straps make the dress look so much better and it does make Hayden look too short.

that dress is way too “big girl” for the hero’s girl; it wears her. shania looks perfect in it though

The dress is gorgeous and really looks good on both of them. The dress looks great with the straps and it really shows off Shania’s fantastic body. But I really like Hayden’s hairstyle…it kinda fits with the Grecian look. I think both ladies made the gown their own and look beautiful!

I like the dress better without the straps, and I like Hayden’s hair more than Shania’s…also, I don’t really like Shania’s shoes. I may be in the majority, but I like it better on Hayden.

I think Shania has the better body for this dress, but I like the way Hayden wore better (her hair, her accessories, no straps, her shoes?).

Hayden! I don’t like Shania’s bracelets, a bit to much with both earrings and bracelets
