As the weeks wind down before she’s set to surrender her America’s Next Top Model throne, current title holder Jaslene Gonzalez cashes in on her last minutes of fame by attending BET’s Rip the Runway 2008 event at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City on Thursday.
Lauren London and rapper Nelly hosted the soirée while P. Diddy took on the role of executive producer.
The star-studded event, which is set to air later this month on BET, went off without a hitch. The highlight of the night had to be when Nelly flubbed up a line which prompted a heckler to comment on his literacy (or lack thereof.) Nelly’s response? “I know how to count numbers.”

I DO NOT think this skeleton is attractive. ANTM is so fucking stupid- it;s not like any of the “winners” have gotten any respectable work.
I still love ATNM, I don’t know why. It’s the only reality show I’ll watch. I guess I love watching the photoshoots and how they are transformed. Although I agree that they don’t become SUPERmodels, some do get some good work. Some of the models have more than others. For example, Ann of cycle 3 has a very large portfolio. They may not be household names like Gisele or Heidi, but they still do get some work and as you know, this industry is very competitive. So the fact that they do work at all is something.
Yes, but Ann didn’t win. A few non-winners have gone on to get decent amount legit modeling work, but you can’t really say that of the actual winners.
I just saw ANTM 2 months ago when they started showing re-runs and i think it’s a really good show. This girl’s main problem is that she is nasty skinny, it’s SO unattractive, her face is so average.
