Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise arrive at the First Annual Essence Black Women In Hollywood Luncheon at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills on Thursday.
The star-studded event honour three of Hollywood’s finest who havehelped to change and inspire positive images of Black women in television and film — both in front of the camera and behind-the-scenes.
Katie kept her look fashion forward in an Alexander McQueen frock and Christian Louboutin peep-toes.

They seem to attend a lot of events…even ones that don’t really seem to apply to them. Is Tom a benfactor of them or something? I think she looks really pretty here. I like her hair and her dress. Has anyone noticed how she smiles differently now though? I don’t know whether she’s doing it on purpose to look classier or something or if she is actually less happy.

The reason Tom & Katie are there is because that’s what friends do — they support each other. I’m sure they were just there to show respect and support for Will & Jada. Will & Jada go to events to support them, it’s only fair that they return the favor.
