Amy Winehouse looked like her old self at the Brit Awards tonight in London.

The once embattled songstress looked into the camera at one point and mouthed, “I love you,” presumably a message to her hubby, Blake Fielder-Civil, who is in jail.

Welcome back, Wino. Or should we say, Amy.

    Good to see she’s managed to get through a performance without embarassing herself. Maybe she’s trying to clean herself up. I like that she looks so individual…I mean if you were backstage there would be no confusion over who Amy Winehouse was. I hope she doesn’t start any trends though. I wouldn’t wanna see a million rats nest beehives running around the street.

    Okay, after the short blond hair, we all know that she wears a wig. But really… why would she pick the rattiest one she could find? It’s on par with Britney’s!

    Congrats Amy!! Keep it up. Stay clean. You’ll only get stronger. Nice to see her clearly on the road to recovery. She’s actually putting effort into her performances now and her voice is coming back strong.

    I don’t believe the “chicken cutlet” (or what we used to call falsie) story. She had breast augmentation. Looks good on her, though. Now how about an upgrade for the awful barbie wig?

    ^You’re not the only one, anonymous. I thought her performance sucked (especially “Valerie”, my roomie walked by and said, “What the fuck is that sound– a cat dying?”), but I agree that she seems clear-headed and relatively healthy compared to a few months ago.

    She dance like she is having a seizure, like involuntarily body shakes or ticks. Whatever it does work I guess. She has a style that is defining and different which is cool, and her voice is cool, it does look like she is a puppet tho like her body is possessed and she doesn’t know how the next word is gonna come out or where the beat is gonna go. Who is the fat chick in the beginning? She has a good voice.

    She is a one of a kind song stylist the like of which we have not seen in many many years. Her voice is not great in the classic sense (ie. Whitney Houston in the 90’s), it is unique, as are her movements,expressions and dress. Pay attention–singers like her only pass this way once in a great while–she is special.

    Sadly, the awards show when she was high sounded better than this. Check you tube for the video. There was much more soul in her voice then. Now, she’s all jerky and out of rhythm. Weird. And sad, too.
