The hip-gyrating songstress has just signed on to only star but also executive produce Darnell Martin’s Cadillac Records for Sony BMG Films.
Knowles will play Etta James in the 1950s period film about the Chicago record company Chess Records; its founder, Leonard Chess; and the turbulent lives of some of the label’s legends, who included Muddy Waters, Little Walter, Howlin’ Wolf and Chuck Berry.
One word: FLOP!

She can’t sing Etta’s songs. She’ll destroy them/…and I LIKE Beyonce. This is a tragic mistake.
I love Beyonce but I personally think she should go away for a while (years) and come back fresh!!! Seriously she must need a break, and shes not getting more popular just annoying!
She needs to come back and show people they are stupid for comparing her to Rihanna, Ashanti ect.
I like her too,she may be getting a bit overexposed, but she DOES have talent and she is beautiful, and she works her ass off while keeping (most of) her dignity. Gotta respect.
