This just in: TMZ reports that attorneys are in agreement that Britney Spears should have visitation rights, but they haven’t agreed to terms yet.
Most likely, a psychiatrist will supervise visitation.
Brit hasn’t seen her kids for a month and a half.

UPDATE: Britney will not get visitation with her boys after all!
The lawyers simply couldn’t come up with an agreement and the Commish said that the conservatorship reportedly had no bearing on the custody case.

It is only because Kevin WANTS her to have visitation. If he were against it, I doubt it would happen. I hardly call it a “score for the Underdog”.
I dont know how someone could go 6 weeks w/o seeing their kids…….i cant comprehend that. BUT I understand why
No fucking way!!!! She is in no position to be around childern. She has to prove (i think) that she has made some sort of recovery from what ever it is that ails her

The day is not over. I hate it when Arasto lifts from TMZ and doesn’t report the entire news. The attorneys are going to work out an agreement by days end so that she can see her kids. Why don’t you people remember that this is a custody issue and nobody WINS or LOSES. It’s what is best for the children and the children should see their mother. It’s not her fault that she is bi-polar and she’s getting help and treatment. Why should she and her children be punished and kept apart because of a DIAGNOSED illness. In the end I don’t care one way or the other because it doesn’t affect me but I find it so damn sad that so many people hate her for being mentally sick.

I really think the issue here is her drug use. You pretty much have to be an axe murderer to not be able to even see your children. That is why her Dad & security team are shadowing every move she makes. The hospital kept her just long enough to get her detoxed but now it is up to her to stay clean. The judge even put it in her file that she was a frequent & habitual drug abuser. They are trying to get her clean & she is pissed. Get clean for your kids Brit!!
I don’t think drugs are even at issue anymore. Yes, the court commissioner used the “drug abuser” term awhile back before it came out that Britney was bi-polar. I’m not saying she never used drugs but in many recent months, even after her first breakdown, all the tests have been negative. You have all these dumbasses calling her “methface” and “methhead” but drugs are not the issue. She has mental health issues and the reason her father is not leaving her alone is that they don’t want her in contact with that Sam guy.
she needs to see her boys. That in itself is reason for her to continue getting the help she needs.
It must be so sad and confusing for her to not see her little boys. She probably doesn’t think she’s done anything wrong and wonders why she just can’t see them. It’s an awful situation for all involved really. I think she should be able to at least see her boys. They are both young and in the crucial stages of their life where they are starting to recognise people and say things etc etc and she should be a part of that even to a small extent or they won’t know her when they do get a chance to see her. I know its her own fault she’s in the position she is in, but its no fair for her little boys to not be able to at least see their mother. I certainly don’t think she should be left alone with them or anything but a supervised visitation even once a week seems acceptable.
I think to dismiss drug use as a possible cause of this decision is ridiculous and naive. I bet there are a lot of meth addicts who hit the drug store every night, who spend time in hotels instead of their own homes and who act ridiculous and crazy all the time. Coincidence? Whether the drug use is a symptom of her bipolar or if it’s just a comorbid thing, I don’t know. I still think she’s most likely just a bad person who happens to have a mental disorder. Whatever the reason, if it was merely bipolar they were dealing with, they would probably let her see her kids. It would be cruel not to.
