After pretending to lose 75 pounds, Kirstie Alley is no longer a Jenny Craig spokeswoman.
Says the weight loss organization: “Kirstie Alley is ready to move on to other creative challenges. She’s proud to have been able to participate in the creation of Jenny’s award-winning, integrated advertising campaign and says she’s thankful for the opportunity to help so many other people lose weight and keep it off.”
May the celebratory cake eating officially begin!

That whole TV campaign by Jenny C. was a scam—she still looked fat even in the “bikini” ad which was very carefully staged. She should have been glad to get the cash …
Yeah, she USED to be sexy. The only thing less sexy than a morbidly overweight woman (or man) is if that person is a liar and a nasty human being. Congrats Kirstie, you miserable pig. I just saw Valerie Bertonelli’s new JC add today and not only does she look FANTASTIC, she has clearly lost a ton of weight and exudes JOY. Go away Kirstie — somewhere, there’s a Big Mac calling your name.

I think everyone needs to lay off her. People can only really make the decision to lose weight and change their lifestyle when they are ready for it. Obviously Kirstie was not and it was too hard for her. Maybe she can try again next year. Not all people have the willpower that others do, I learned that when I was trying to get one of my friends to lose weight. It just doesn’t happen if their heart’s not in it.
