A new and improved Britney Spears steps out to dinner with her dad Jamie at Social Hollywood on Saturday night.
Since Jamie became the conservator of Britney’s estate, she has stayed out of trouble and managed to have little drama in her life.

It’s really good to see that she’s spending time with her parents and looks to have put any problems aside. I really do think they are looking out for her best interests and they aren’t going to rip her off or take advantage of her like most of the other people in her life. Her hair doesn’t look too different to me really, it still looks kind of scraggly. I really think she’d be better with her natural hair or wigs. These extensions are just going to ruin what natural hair she has left and they don’t look good.
She looks like she is on DRUGS… sedated…
So glad to see she is among family members and not money hungry sharks so called Adnan and Sam Lufti. Hope she continues to get better. Her career demise all stemmed from marrying that jerk Federline whose sole objective is to get at her fortune.

everytime I want to hate her (especially how she lost her children) I can’t help but think of that video where she is sitting in the restaurant, holding her baby with streaks of tears running down her face. Earlier in the day she had the paps all over her while getting out of her car and she almost dropped her baby. Just the look of desperation on her face and to think her soul was probably slowly dying by all the negative attention from the paparazzi and fans. Even a person with the most confidence in the world would have broken down at least a bit if not completely. To top it all off Kevin was going out to clubs (and making rap music that everyone hated) and everyone was calling her fat and ugly. The way this has all ended is not good for anyone. I hope she gets better. It’s easy to spread hate on these boards but we have to show some humanity sometimes. Yes she is responsible for her life but lets look back to how it all started.

Why doesn’t she do lace front wigs (like tyra) surely they would be so less itchy and stressful to her natural hair….
I feel sorry for her poor father—–but he seems to be the only one to actually genuinly want to help her.

God I am glad its not me facing this kind of criticism. She looks good compared to what she has done. She is no longer manic due to the drugs and is therefore going to be more subdude. I totally agree with the rest of the comments - god her father seems to be trying so hard. He does look uncomfortable but they are putting their faces out there to show everyone I guess that she has calmed down. I have never, ever seen him ever before in the press since this started.
I really hope she turns all this around because she has two little boys that need a mommy not a permanent nanny. Thats the bottom line - they are babies.
Jamie looks so out of his element. But it’s sweet because it goes to show you how hard he’s trying. She’s not gonna all of a sudden look drop dead gorgeous..give her a fucking break. She’s getting better and that should be all that matters.
She looks like she’s had a long shower. A good change. The look in her eyes in very Katie Holmes though - blank and glassy. Possibly the meds. Her dad’s looking awkward but concerned. Baby steps. At least she is in safe hands…
You go girl. For all your stupid haters, get a life. She hasn’t done anything “notorious” in the past few weeks so the best you can do is attack her hair and dress. Says more about you than her. I hope the paps back off of her soon but that’s asking for too much for as long as there’s money to be made from her, these scums and everything that feeds them (like the tabloids, TV, the blogs, etc) will never let her be.
To commit on an above post: Brit’s downfall did not begin with Kevin. It began a few years before that if you go back and look at her actions and behaviour in public and the time line that goes with it. Though I don’t particularly get a good vibe from K Fed I feel he too is a victim of the media in how he is portrayed just like Britney is/was. She has a long, long way to go though. Whether or not she is truly mentally ill she also has to change her attention seeking/spoiled the world revolves around me ways in order to center herself and become whole.
This is by far the best she has looked in a very, very long time. Maybe even a year or so. I think it is wonderful that her parents decided to step in, and I know mine would do the same if I hit the lows she did, even if I was a grown woman. Everybody needs a supportive family, and hers probably saved her life. I’m rooting for her, I really am. I hope she makes a full recovery and finds peace in her life.
you know what—her hair IS looking a lot better. Because it was THIS TIME LAST YEAR when she shaved her head bald. So stop fucking hating on her and look at the year she’s had. In retrospect, does it really fucking matter what her hair looks like???? I’m sure it’s the least of HER concerns…
She should still be in the hospital, not creating photo ops for the paps. It’s unfortunate that no one, least of all her, will put her own long-term health and welfare first.
Her eyes still look dead to me. Sadly, I don’t think she’ll ever fully “recover”.

This thing she is going through has really aged her….Her dad can’t be there for the rest of her life.She has to be accountable and know that she has to stay on meds. The problem is, there is a false sense of security and people go off their meds….there will be more on Britney unfortunately .This is not the last we have heard of her and her mental illness….

That said…I wish her father would take her back to Louisiana… her family could rally around her and she wouldn’t be hounded there like she is in LA. Maybe some positive reinforcement would bring her back to life.

It seems to me that all of this has been brought on by Brit’s excessive use of drugs. They just kept her in the hospital long enough to detox her & then released her. She is probably so pissed that her Father will not allow her to do drugs anymore. All of Brit’s problems are self-induced & she refuses to accept that. You have to be a pretty foul person to have a judge deny any visitation with your own children.
