Multiple award winner Amy Winehouse triumphed despite rehab with a killer performance during Sunday night’s star studded Grammy Awards.
The look, the sound, the bravado and even the mid-song jig all prove that she is officially back.
Wino, who performed via satellite from London, where she’s being treated for addiction problems, snagged the coveted Best New Artist prize, denying Calgary-bred rival Feist. She also picked up Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Performance and Best Pop Vocal album for Back to Black.
Well deserved!!!

That is the first time she has not been slurring while performing in a LONG time. She sounded and looked great! She also looked very happy.

Awww! I just watched her performance on tv, and her win, and I have to say ‘Most genuine expression of shock ever!’ How sweet is she?! I love her when she’s not stuttering and mumbling her words, she is a doll!! GO AMY!
I love her voice. Very retro r&b but with a modern touch.

I love how every time she sang the hook ‘I won’t go, go, go’ she gave the camera a sly little looked as if she knew the irony of the lyrics was pretty funny. And her shouting out Blake was hilarious. Great performance!
Feist is not from Calgary, she is from Amherst, Nova Scotia.
GET YOUR SHIT STRAIGHT!
Actually, she may have been born in Nova Scotia but grew up and started her music career in Calgary.
