David Boreanaz shows he is a real Angel when it comes to animals after appearing in a new ad for PETA.

The hunky star, who now stars in the hit show Bones, appears in the advert with his dogs Fritz and Bertha Blue.

The ad also features the tagline: “Be your dogs’ Angel. Play with them, take them for nice long walks and don’t ever chain them.”

    I have lusted after him since Buffy Days :P
    Though I chain one of my dogs. I live in the country.
    And I shoot dogs that come into my yard.
    The “Dog Pound” does not care what the dog is doing (growling at my kids) they will not pick the mutt up. No matter how many times you call.
    Some dogs are not house pets, and a chain is cheaper than a freaking fence anyday.
    City folks are the ones that dump the dogs off in the country anyway.
    Though I have always listened to BOB BARKER - -mine are fixed.

    ‘SheRides’, your ignorance is showing. The idea of NOT CHAINING your dog is for the GOOD OF YOUR DOG, not for your financial convenience. Yes, fences are expensive. Yes, dogs and cats are expensive. If you can’t afford to fence your yard and PROTECT your dog from all the feral dogs that seem to be overtaking your yard, then maybe you shouldn’t have a dog.

    Nice campaign. I totally agree with this, if people aren’t willing to take care of their dogs properly then they shouldn’t have them. I’ve got friends who live in this huge house with no yard and they have a big dog whos paws are wearing down because he hasn’t be able to play on grass. It’s so so sad. David Boreanz looks as hot here as he always has and his dogs are cuties!

    Aren’t dogs supposed to have a nice big back yard (or a dog park) to run around in? SheRides, if you think dogs are expensive, wait til you have kids!!! OH wait! You do have kids! Do you chain them too?

    Why can’t he be holding pit bulls? PETA is a hypocrytical organization that only advocates for the welfare of certain animals. It’s run by a fucked up, crazy ass lady who is biased towards certain animals and actually advocates killing all pit bulls, like the Micheal Vick dogs - which the majority of have been successfully rehabilitated and are living happily with familys. It’s sad that celebrities will endorse any organization without truly investigating what they are supporting.
