DANNIELYNN SAYS GOODBYE TO THE MOTHER SHE NEVER HAD

Joined by her greiving papa Larry, 17-month-old Dannielynn Birkhead visits the Nassau graves of her mother, Anna Nicole Smith, and brother, Daniel Smith.
In a new interview that will likely air throughout the next month (and then some!), Larry tells Entertainment Tonight that the visit was hard for him, but important for Dannielynn to honour the one-year anniversary of Anna Nicole’s death.
Says the mourning babydaddy: “One day I can tell her that we went to visit her mom.”
Meanwhile, Page Six reported yesterday that Anna Nicole’s mother, Virgie Arthur, has been hawking exclusive rights to photos of her acting out a similar scene.
A rep for the exploitive granny wrote in an email: “She’ll go to the Bahamas if you want . . . She would like to visit the grave, and it would make pretty emotive pix of her doing so.”
Looks like peddling photos runs in the family!!!

I also think it’s kind of creepy how he always goes to those news shows, but then again at least he’s sending out a positive image of Anna and their daughter.

Her really does need to stay off these stupid ass shows. Anna’s mother is a complete and total loser and I see how she ended up in a grave at such a young age. That little girl is beautiful!

You know… while on one hand I think it’s horribly exploitive to sell the pictures of you and your daughter visiting her mother’s grave. On the other, though, I guess I can sort of see his perspective, too… if they’re already planning to go, why not make some money at the same time? I’m not saying that it’s RIGHT or ETHICAL, but I guess I see his logic.

You know…I don’t think Larry is too bad. Yes he always goes to Entertainment Tonight but he really does seem to love this little girl and he appears to be a devoted daddy. I guess he feels by doing this sort of thing Dannielynn can look back and see how involved her father was with her after Anna Nicole’s death. Maybe this good press with soften the blow when she reads all the stories about her mother’s death, her brother’s death, the custody battle etc. She’s a sweet little girl, I love the way that Larry has dressed her up. I can’t believe its been a year!

I think it’s disgusting that he sold this to ET. Jesus fucking christ, the kid has had cameras in her face since before she was born. Is it too much to ask that she be given time alone at her mother’s grave (not that she even understands what the hell is going on now).

I agree with Erica. While it’s weird to do this, I can see how Birkhead could do this. I don’t even think it’s unethical. This is money that he can put towards his daughter’s future (at least, I hope that’s what he’s doing with it), and it’s not like he’s personally grieving for Anna or anything.

I wonder if he does shit like this so that he doesn’t have the paps hounding them for pictures. At least this way he has some measure of control. And hey, a girl and her daddy gotta eat.

She is a gorgeous little girl who looks well looked after. That is some cute outfit she has on too. For some reason, I do not find this guy creepy in the same way some others are in ‘milking’ publicity. I think he loves his daughter. Woo knows, time will tell I guess.

He has to earn the money to pay off that big lawyer bill somehow, so why not sell ET all his exclusive stories. It’s not like I really expected him to fade in total obscurity and raise the child without the glare of camera lights blinding her.

She is one of the cutest babies I’ve ever seen. Looks just like her daddy. She has something for Anna, but for the most part is a spitting image of her dad.
