She looks gorgeous!! She has beautiful hair and just such a sexy vibe about her. I always forget that she was with Tom Cruise for ages….nobody ever seems to mention that relationship anymore.

I’m not a big fan of hers either. She’s very plain in my opinion… nothing striking about her. But yeah these pictures are sexy I’ll have to admit that. I find it hard to believe she dated tom cruise. She didn’t turn into a robot like Katie did at least.

I would like to point out something. I am spanish, and i know them both (Monica and Penelope).
First pic girl is her sister Monica, in a black little dress, but rest of pics the one which appears is Penelope.

As “Eat it” says, Penelope voice is a bit hard to stand, and she´s plain acting, but she has something charming, maybe related with her eyes-lips-hair, which made her becoming a sex idol during the 90´s. I know she´s not a beauty but she´s atractive.
First time she appeared on tv was in a videoclip, as a young girl, who was driving crazy in love a famous singer… the song became true and she started a relationship with Nacho Cano when she was 17. She used to work as tv-show girl in a teens program “la quinta marcha”, about music, films… she didn´t became a star easily.

Aside, Scandinavian beauty is a canon of beauty…what it should be. A bit fascist if you ask me but all media
is full of this type u=of women and nobody seems to say that they are not “that pretty”.
Not that all women from that origen are dumb, but let’s say that doors open more easyly if you are blonde, 6″,
have big boobs, small nose, and pretend to be stupid. (ahem, barbie)
They can be born even in brazil or south africa it does not matter. The canon is what i’m refering to:
Penelope is not “pretty” for many, because she has not all of the traits of the canon.

The Devil: What do you mean when you say ” what it should be? Penelope is famous for being beautiful, many men find her alluring and sexy, and she has dated some of the biggest hotties and A listers in Hollywood like Matthew and Tom. I don’t know too many men that find Reece, Sienna, etc as beauties, but yes the door will always open easier for them because they fit that mold but i don’t think that mold means there the most attractive i just think in the US we have low tolerance for any other look thats not plain jane or tall and blonde. Basically meaning something out of the box which means we don’t understand beauty.

And i agree that the notion of beauty being generally narrow in America. Thats why bimbos like Jessia Simpson, Holly Madison, Britney Spears(when she was blonde) etc are considered hot.
