Much like her big comeback, Britney Spears’ court hearing today ended sooner than thought.
No changes have been made. Brit’s custody (or lack thereof) situtation remains the same and her request to see her kids in a ” therapeutic setting” was not heard as she’s currently nestled up in a psych ward.
Next up? Brit and Co. plan to go on the offensive later this afternoon and request that her father’s conservatorship to removed once and for all.
So far, there are no winners in this sad family court battle. Except, of course, all the lawyers who are sucking Brit-Brit’s money dry.

i just cant believe she hasnt stormed out of the hospital yet. her legs must be tied down. as for jamie, i believe he is a good guy.
Let the lawyers get her all of her money. She’ll be forced to re-think her life once the money runs out.
You’re wrong. As long as fruitcake Britney stays in the nuthouse we the public are the winners because we don’t have to see her crazy ass all over TV and the interenet doing stupid friggin’ things all the time. And they have now given her two more weeks in the padded cell, I say keep her there indefinitely!

I’m really glad she hasn’t tried to leave the hospital. That’s a good sign that she knows that it is the best thing for her right now. She really needs to sort out all her legal shit though, she will never have a clear mind with all that hanging over her head. She’s been in and out of court proceedings for over a year now!! It’s got to be draining…you’d think with the lawyers that Kevin and Britney have hired that a decision would have been reached by now. I guess with her changing situation all the time it’s hard.
