Despite currentlybeing in rehab, Amy Winehouse is going to the Grammys later this month!!!
She briefly left a London clinic this morning to go to the U.S. embassy to renew her visa, her rep tells Us.“Yes, that’s true,” the rep says.
Her father Mitch told reporters that she has since returned to the clinic and “has not left for good.â€
A source told Us that Winehouse “is desperate to go and has been told she can go on the condition that she has a minder there and returns to rehab when back in the UK.”
Sooooo happy!! I mean, someone has to be there to pick up her Best Album of the Year award, right??

As much as I’d love to see Amy at the Grammys (to sweep them)….I don’t know if this is the best thing for her health.

I wish she would perform at the Grammy’s and do cocaine right there at the mike stand while singing. She is good at it as we all saw last month and the Grammy’s are so stale, they could use some of her antics!
I hope she wins everything at the Grammys !!!! I just listened to her sing “Will you still love me tomorrow” she is just great !!!!! No one else sounds like that….love her. Now, if she will just stay alive….
I think Amy is a very talented person and I love her album and unique sound but I don’t think she should go to the Awards. She needs to stick with her rehab program and stay 100% committed. Just one little break, especially to the US, could be enough to send her off the rails again. Her health is more important than her career, she needs to realise that. If she keeps going on the way she is she won’t be able to perform, write new music or anything so her career will be pretty much down the drain anyway. If she can work through her addictions and stay in rehab then she might have a chance at another album.
Why would Justin Timberlake let Amy Winehouse pick up his Album of the Year award?
