Emmy winner America Ferrera and Oscar nominee Ellen Page are among 10 young actresses who grace the cover of Vanity Fair’s annual Hollywood issue, on stands February 12.

The Hollywood “it” girls are joined by Emily Blunt, Amy Adams, Jessica Biel, Anne Hathaway, Alice Braga, Zoe Saldana, Elizabeth Banks and Ginnifer Goodwin.

Clothing from Dior by John Galliano was designed exclusively for the shoot.

this is the worst group of starlets that i have seen in a long time.. none of them seem confident nor glamourous enough to take on this tough business!! Hollywood, where have you gone????

I wonder how the two were chosen to wear the bathing suits. Degrading–especially when all the others are in evening wear.

    Anne Hathaway is so chic.

What I always hate about these stupid covers by VF is how they create a false order of importance. I hate it and I also disagree with who they shove in front. Look at poor America! That gorgeous, talented actress is pushed to the corners and in the fold. F**K VF! They don’t decide who is more important or worthy.

Why can’t the sister be dressed like everyone else? Thanks Vanity Fair for perpetuating old sterotypes about black women.

LOL - yes, because if there’s one thing everyone “knows” about black people it’s how much they love to swim!

“because if there’s one thing everyone “knows” about black people it’s how much they love to swim!”

Ok, that was pretty funny. Kind of wrong, but funny. But I think the poster (and forgive my presumptuousness if I’m wrong) was probably referring to the fact that they sexualized Zoe by putting her front and center in a white bathing suit like that, playing into myths about the exaggerated sexuality of Black and Latina women. That and it’s kind of degrading when not everyone else is wearing a bathing suit. The hell? But whatever.. I try not to think that deep about stuff before 11:00 am.
