Minutes after the story broke of her admittance into rehab, Eva Mendes’ publicist swung into action and prompty issued a public statement.
“Eva has been working hard for the past year and made a positive decision to take some much-needed time off to proactively attend to some personal issues that, while not critical, she felt deserved some outside professional support. Out of respect for Eva’s privacy, we do not wish to discuss further details.”

Sorry I don’t agree with you there Arasto. Any of the stars that are admitted into rehab I am pulling for. It’s a huge step admitting that you have a problem and they all deserve to overcome those addictions. I hope Eva can get the help she needs and have a bit of privacy while doing it.

I agree with you Stephi. I think it’s great that she is getting help. There is nothing wrong with having a problem. Everybody has their own problems, no matter what they may be, they are all tailored specifically to the person. So there is no shame in having a problem like this, the only shame should come is when nothing gets done about it. Eva is taking to proper steps to get healthy and unlike many other stars, choose to take care of it before it got too out of control. Seriously good for her!
