Following his humanitarian mission in Sudan and India, George Clooney visits the United Nations in New York City on Thursday to receive his Messenger Of Peace designation.

Joined by his mom and dad, the actor-cum-dogooder was named the U.N.’s 9th Messenger Of Peace by Secretary General Ban Ki-moon in honour of his campaign to end the war in Darfur and increase the region’s humanitarian aid.

Next up for George the Great? A series of meetings with country dignitaries who contribute troops to the U.N.’s 17 peacekeeping missions worldwide.

    Ofcourse Only 1. Don’t you know there are a different set of rules when it comes to Angelina. All of her actions are judged harsher and by different standards.
    Garner can be photographed with Violet 3 x a day, 7 days a week and it’s okay. Angelina brings her children outside and it’s immediately a photo-op.
    Will & Jada, Gwen & Gavin, Paul McCartney, Matt Damon all bring their children with them when they are filming around the world, but when Angelina does it…she’s dragging them around, loss of stability..blah blah blah.
    Angelina who has been doing UN related activities for the last 7 years and it’s for publicity and when Clooney does it and no one utters anything negative.
    Funny how people see things isn’t it?
