ROSIE BLOGS ABOUT HEATH

Rosie O’Donnell has finally thrown in her two cents on the Heath Ledger tragedy via her blog.

The opinionated media personality posted a video yesterday, called Rosie’s Canvas. The clip shows her manipulating a photo of Heath from the cover of the New York Post as Broadway’s Spring Awakening sings The Song of Purple Summer.

After covering the deceased actor’s face in yellow mustard (ok, it’s paint), she quickly pulls the cover away to reveal only his face.

Deep.

I thought that was beautiful. Say what you want to about her, but she appreciates people and things deeply. A wonderful tribute.

I get it… it’s a COVERUP, get it? Just like his death, the whole MK and the ‘masseuse’ thing… they were so cleaning up the drugs before the cops could get there it’s not even funny. Poor Heath, slobbering in his own drool the whole while…

I think it could be possible what pillbox is saying…. although I lean more towards me. It was a beautiful tribute, and Rosie does have great respect and heart when it comes to tragedies such as this.

Rosie and pillbox are disgusting pigs! Pillbox, you’re obviously a druggie as you know exacutally what to do. I hope Heath haunts wankers like you. Show some compassion you fag.

pillbox, get some help, you’ve clearly got HUGE issues. You’re a poor excuse for a human being. I truly feel for your parents. They’ve seriously fucked up bringing up a looser like you.

actually, pillbox could be partly right. it’s known that HL used drugs. even if they weren’t around them, certainly the only reason the masseuse called MK instead of 911 was because she feared getting him in trouble at the very least. and it was originally reported that she found him with pills all around, which was later retracted. so, anything’s possible.

The only issues that pillbox has is a huge case of raging logic. It *is* odd that the RMT called MK before 911. I assume it’s because she wanted to protect her and/or HL. Whether or not it’s b/c of drugs is up in the air, but it *is* fucking odd…

…y’know, I was going to say I could kinda understand, and that I would also clean up any signs of drug use if I came across a friend in the same sitch, but not that I think about it, I wouldn’t. I wouldn’t want to hide anything from the EMTs just in case it made the difference b/w life and death. The RMT should’ve called 911 immediately.

I really liked it. I think its about this.

All the bloggers of the world tried to paint a story about Heath Ledger that was becoming more and more unweildly and messy every day. It started out with something positive (the sun) and then became more messy with every report. The true essence of the man was being lost with all the rumours and inuendo. Finally, the real truth will be revealed and the imprints Heath left behind, through his work, will shine through.

That is my take on it because reality is, I do not think there is any cover up at all. I dont have a clue but my guess is maybe through previous drug use his heart was affected and the pneumonia on top of that did him in. All signs were that he was trying very hard to live a healthy lifestyle of late (well apart from the cigs) - no alcohol etc. He was also very positive and happy about his work and future opportunities. He also had a great time with family and new love interest over Christmas.

Maybe I am delusional and have just become yet another person who has painted yet another incorrect and misleading picture but whichever way you look at it - it was his time!

and for the rest of you… it was a coverup… and if you don’t know enough to read through the lines of newspapers, TV and Rosie’s blog… well, y’all will just have to do some more figurin’ for yerselves. and good luck with that. ; )

Clarification — my comment was directed at whether or not there was any thought to covering something up, not about Rosie’s performance art piece. I agree with Leah’s take on it, and am mystified that anyone could think that Rosie was trying to be insulting. It’s not like she’s some inaccessible “artiste” — the symbolism’s pretty freaking obvious.

People who call her nuts and stupid need to keep their pie holes shut. Just because YOU don’t understand it doesn’t mean she’s stupid or nuts.
