Amid an unusually wet and cloudy sky in Los Angeles, British import Kate Beckinsale adds a little sunshine in a strapless bright yellow Louisa Beccaria gown to the 14th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday.
While all appeared to be well on the red carpet, the 34-year-old actress had to deal with a minor catastrophe while prepping for the big show.
“Our cat [Clive] caught fire on a candle,” Kate tells People. “As I was getting ready, there was like ‘whoosh’ a fireball and he went up like a rocket.”
But worry not. “[The cat] is fine. He had no idea,” she adds.
