The divas were out in full force on Saturday night at the 9th Annual NRJ Awards at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France.
R&B darling Rihanna rocked the red carpet looking stunning as usual. The multi-nominated songstress donned a flowy grey gown that accentuated her curves, along with a pair of strappy heels.
Meanwhile, Aussie songbird Kylie Minogue was looking darling in a sense-numbing colourful frock, paired with a black waist sash and matching peep-toes.
Rihanna debuted her ultra short yet ultra chic ‘do while rocking France’s most famous music awards with a rendition of Don’t Stop the Music.

Rhianna is gorgeous!! She’s got such a beautiful face and I love how she has been dressing lately. She doesn’t seem so much of a teeny bopper as before. Her songs still annoy me and I think she’s very vain but that doesn’t mean I can’t think she’s beautiful. Kylie on the other hand…does not look good in my opinion. She needs to stop trying to be young and sexy and realise that she’s not in her 20s anymore. Some women can pull it off and others can just embarass themselves like Kylie.
Oh Arasto you also forgot to mention that Britney won for best intertional album of the year at the NRJ awards. Which she beat out Amy Winehouse, James Blunt, Mika & Rihanna…seems like you always like to talk aboutt the negative side of Britney and not the positive.

When they announced the winner they played ‘Gimme more’ like music background. and they said that the singer was invited to the event but she rejected the offer. and she didnt recorded any type to be greatful the award.
Also they commented that nobody from her label was there to receive the award. so….

Oh, nobody but Britney fans (of which there are very, very few on this site) care whether she won an award or not. I’d rather she got her life straightened out than getting recognized for something she only showed up to warble to.

And the worst thing about Rihanna’s new hair is that it always looks like it’s in her face. These shots aren’t too bad, but the other day it was so bad I couldn’t believe she could see anything out of her left eye! She is really lovely, though, and aside from the in-her-eyes thing her new ‘do is gorgeous and gutsy. I agree with Stephi that she seems to be maturing (style-wise) quickly and well.
Kylie’s pictures aren’t working for me (as in, I click on them and get an error message), but I’m not too sure I want to see that print any larger than it is in the thumbnails, anyway.
I just don’t see anything attractive about Rhianna. On facebook there’s a group called “Rhianna’s head looks like a fetus,” which pretty much sums up how I feel about her.
I love me some Rih Rih she is so classy and well put together for someone so young! Gorgeous girl!
