With only days to go before her big trip to Washington D.C., Hayden Panettiere is spotted out in Los Angeles on Friday, leaving the popular celebrity beauty spot, Chris McMillan salon.

The Heroes cutie flashed her smile and new curls as she made the walk to her Porsche Cayenne in the parking lot next door.

On Sunday, Hayden will lead a rally against a resumption of commercial whaling. She will also be speaking with policymakers and students to encourage increased whale protection.

    i appreciate that she’s a young women actually trying to make a difference, but with the economy and political environment of the united states in the shape they are in, im sure there would be even better ways to spend her time lobbying for things.

    Then maybe they could speak to her about shutting the hell up. If listening to self important celebrities toting around their charity du jour is whats really important in Congress then no wonder there are so many issues there.
    She’ll be over it and on to puppies or something next. BORING.

    Michelle, the salon is in a bungalow on Burton Way- not in a “city” type setting- I drive by it all the time, and it is very pretty- just out of the way of the Robertson shopping district

    I honestly couldn’t give a shit what she looks like, its the fact that she is doing this wonderful thing for the whales that impresses me. For someone so young its great to see her being proactive and not being scared off after her first attempt at protest. You can tell that this is not for publicity at all and that she is genuinely concerned about this cause, as you would be if you had experienced the killing firsthand. Go Hayden!
