Britney Spears and her former assistant, the ever-trustworthy Carla, are a team once again!

The duo went out for dinner at Sunset Plaza’s Le Clafoutis in West Hollywood last night, and then were off to Rite Aid for some make-up shopping.

After nabbing a bag full of goodies, Brit-Brit went to pack her merch into the trunk of her car when she cut herself while trying to complete the arduous task. Yet despite her boo-boo, Britney was all smiles while Adnan Ghalib was nowhere to be seen!

After parting ways with Carla, Britney wasn’t ready to call it a night. Catching a second wind, she called her right-hand man, Sam Lutfi, to escort her to the 24 Hour Fitness for some late night “dancing!”

Meanwhile, in legal news, lawyers for the pop mess were in court today to answer charges that she was driving without a valid license. Because her attorney and the prosecutor were unable to agree on what law applies, the judge gave them until Febuary 20 to figure it out.
