Us Weekly reports ex-gal pal Naomi Watts has canceled all interviews at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, where she is promoting her upcoming thriller Funny Games.
She also will not attend the premiere tonight.

i think it is very kind and respectful of her to do so. it is the right thing to do. i would mourn an ex. they are part of who we are and our history.
She was with him for 2-3 years. Even if you are “over” your ex, their death can still be devastating.
She’s probably devestated by his death….. why would someone put their grief under wraps for the sake of a stupid film festival or movie premiere…. to me this is a no-brainer and to be entirely expected.

he was a real jerk to her, used her to jumpstart his career then dumps her.
^ ^ Really?.. cause I doubt that.. if anything, it worked both ways in their favor. I think had he not been with her, he would have done fine. It’s not like Naiomi opened the acting doors for him. I mean, she’s a good actress, but he did Brokeback.. that is what really made him the star he had become.
I have sympathy for Naomi, she still cared for Heath. It seems he failed her at some point by not marrying her when she expressed a strong desire to have babies. Then he got Michelle, who is much younger than Naomi, pregnant almost immediately after their breakup.
They were a nice couple. He seemed to have a certain type with the women he was with- Heather Graham, Naomi, Michelle and possibly Gemma. He liked the blondes and they all seem like smart and beautiful women. I feel very sorry for Naomi and I’m not surprised by her actions at all. I know that if an ex boyfriend of mine died I would be devastated as well.
I think this is the cutest picture of Heath as well!
