So says a top photog. Lensman Alison Silva tells private eye Paul Barresi: “Britney is in on it. [She] calls the paparazzi before she goes out. We know 15 minutes before she leaves the house. It’s all staged.”
Silva adds that when four photographers were arrested last week for chasing the increasingly demented pop tart, “one of [them who] works for my company told me that Britney sent him a text message and said she was sorry. She tried to talk the cops into not arresting them . . . Money, fame, the excitement. It’s part of her life.” Barresi told Page Six that after reviewing footage of Spears with Adnan Ghalib, “[he] appeared to purposely position Britney in full view of fellow paparazzi to help them get the shot . . . It appeared that Britney is in on the sham.”
Photogs aren’t the only ones who think it’s all a ploy. American Idol judge Simon Cowell, who is reputed to say it the way he sees it, says, “Everyone thinks it’s breakdown this and breakdown that. From the kind of stunts she’s pulling now, I think she is the puppet master and completely in control.” He adds: “You don’t walk into a church surrounded by the media the day you’re supposed to be in court fighting for your kids just so that you’ve got another picture unless you are totally aware of what you are doing,” he says, “and in my opinion Britney is.”
Our thoughts? Is Britney in mid-breakdown? Or are we all being duped?

Whether the pics are staged or not, having a breakdown or not, no one can argue she is still leading a pathetic, sad, attention desperate, kind of life.
What purpose does she serve, really?

Of urse Brit alerts the press as to what gas station she will be making her daily public appearance at. Is the really a surprise to anyone?
Whoa, is Brit actually a brilliant, high-IQ, Mensa-level performance artist whose entire career was built up to this point so that she could create a portable art-theater-installation that issues a scathing critique on our society’s sick obsession with celebrity in a post-modern world during the decline of the American empire? Is a MacArthur Genius award in her future? We’ve had Andres Serrano’s “Piss-Christ,” Karen Finley shoving yams up her ass, and now Brit’s bloody naked cooch… Damn, y’all, that girl is GOOD.
