HOW DARE THEY SNUB ANGELINA JOLIE!!!!!!!!
courtney-angelina deserve be on list but it s not the end of world.
Glad to see Laura Linney & Viggo Mortensen on the list. I thought Jolie gave a strong performance in Mighty Heart, but I don’t know who I’d take off to give her a slot. I’m guessing that it will be either Christie or Cotillard for the win in best actress.
Go Ratatouille! No Country For Old Men…Shame that Tom Hanks were Josh Brolin were left out…As for Angelina…A Mighty Heart wasn’t that great and she seems to use the same accent for every movie she’s in (see Beowulf and that piece of crap Alexander with Colin Farrell)
American Gangster? I loved that movie and thought Denzel was especially good in it.
Juno FTW
anyone who says go ratatouille hasn’t seen persepolis. but then again you’d have to read subtitles - and that might be to hard for some.
No nominations for James McAvoy and Keira Knightley in Atonement? Loved that movie and thought they both had great chemistry together. No best film nomination for Sweeney Todd? What?
Hey Janet Planet aren’t you so funny…
yes I did see it…and Freeheld, and all the nominees except for Sweeney Todd…
For my money Julie Christie put in a stellar perfomance.
oscars lost credibilty, they’re fixed and people don’t care anymore.
people want to be entertained not preached to by egomaniacs thats why so many people have stopped going to theaters.
GO ELLEN PAGE!!!
Disappointed that I don’t see “Into the Wild” nominated for anything.
Oh nevermind, I see Hal Holbrook now for Into the Wild
