Looking pretty in pink, Natalie Portman graces the January cover of French Elle magazine.
The 26-year-old actress has officially kicked off a worldwide promo tour to pimp her coming romantic historical drama, The Other Boleyn Girl, which costars fellow big screen beauty Scarlett Johansson.
Natalie on former pal Britney Spears: “I was treated with much more respect by the press. Partly by chance. Partly because I was labelled as the good pupil and she was like the bad girl. After, that goes like a prophecy, the paparazzi follows you, waits until you make an error and it is gears. My parents taught me how to pose limits. Not to speak about my private life, because, as soon as one starts, one loses control.”Natalie on going to Harvard: “I never really had another plan. I went to public school and 90% of my class continued on to college. My grandfather had been a professor in Israel and taught at Harvard, Princeton and Yale. He advised with Harvard, which I adored. Moreover, I’ve always lived like a co-ed.”

she’s sooo boring..
love her. she’s smart, beautiful, and talented. she’s only “boring” because she’s human, unlike brittney.
Talented, Educated, and beautiful!!!! Take note BITCHES!!!!!
^^ I second those emotions!.. It’s nice to see a young starlet with longevity… she will be one of the greats for a very long time. SHE’S STUNNING and hotter the ScarJo
Scarlett and Natalie together is like my ultimate fantasy and I am a woman. They are both hot!
I think she’s beauty and class (rare to find in a young hollywood starlette) but that cover shot makes her look like she’s taking a dump on the toilet.
She’s beauitful and smart..just too perfect.
Not down with her.
I mean she is pretty and smart and classy and all, but I am just not intrigued by her AT ALL.
WAY OVERRATED.
Lovely!
She sounds like an idiot in that interview. She’s usually much more eloquent.
i like that she’s educated and everything, but it really irks me sometimes that she acts like going to harvard, yale or princeton makes her better than everyone else.
The ‘Closer’ actress met the comedian a year ago when they co-starred in a spoof rap video which poked fun at her ‘Little Miss Perfect’ reputation when she hosted the popular US comedy show ‘Saturday Night Live’.

I saw her on Letterman and was shocked. How could someone who is Harvard-educated be so utterly stupid? And then I figured it out. She says it herself — her grandfather taught at Ivy League schools, including Harvard. Her parents are wealthy. She’s an only child. She’s not American-born. Of COURSE she’s going to be a shoe-in for Harvard, and of course grade inflation and money are going to help her get that diploma. Money and connections can get you anywhere, I suppose.
I think she is very pretty, but I suspect a lot of people are confusing “class” with “snobbery.”
Oh please. Portman managed AP classes at school. She was raised speaking English and Hebrew, and then learned Arabic, German, as well as some Japanese, French and Spanish. She’s been trained in ballet, jazz, tap. One of her college papers has been sited as source material for dozens more.
Portman was raised here from age 3. I highly doubt that worked in her favor. She’s considered an American.
Out of curiosity: how did ‘Anonymous’ (of course it’s Anonymous) make it through school? I mean, please don’t tell me you expect everyone to believe you made it in on the strength of your grades? That’s looney tunes.
And let’s level the playing field here and say that Harvard accepted Portman because of who she is. Heck, let’s even say they passed her in every class - because if you can’t make it in, you sure as heck can’t keep up; how, exactly, is any of that A)her problem, or B)a sign of snobbery on her part? She was asked a question, she answered it.
