Clad in creations designed by John Galiano, fashion mavens Dita Von Teese and Diane Kruger cut glamorous figures as they attend the Christian Dior-Paris Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2008 fashion show in Paris on Monday.
Staged in a tent in the Bois de Boulogne designed like an Eastern Harem with giant black tassels, tulle curtains and rectangular pond, the star-studded show was inspired by Jean Singer Sargent’s portrait of Madame X, a painting so controversial that the American artist was forced to withdraw it when he first showed it at the Paris Salon of 1884.
As for what to expect on some of Hollywood’s most fashionable stars according to Mr. Galiano? Women worldwide will be wearing volume in explosive colours this coming summer!

Classic and beautiful!!!!
STUNNING!!!
I only like their spandex leggings…..
it’s JOHN singer sargent.
Meh…I’m over her… she looks like that chic from everybody loves raymond (the mom) in the first big pic.
Dita’s looking a little matronly. Perk up Chicka, you’re in Paris!
Dita will NEVER been classic to me, she tries to be. She’s a former stripper and bascially does the same think. Her face does NOTHING for me and her style is not her style, she is coping a 40’s type style, it’s not hers.
Diane is so pretty but she looks washed out. Dita looks beautiful.
Kruger is KILLIN’ it in that suit — and those shoes are fierceness personified. Damn.
It’s Galliano, get your spelling right.
Wow. Dita is flawless from head to toe. Diane looks like she got dressed but forgot to do her hair and make-up.
^^^ You’re right, Tania. I would have liked to have seen a more formal ‘do and different makeup on Diane. But her shoes?? Oh, MY! They are fabulousness unto themselves!
DIANE IS PERFECT!!
Classic and beautiful! Black colors - the best!!!
