High School Musical stars Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale and Zac Efron kick off the weekend with a friendly lunch date full of good eats at Paty’s in Toluca Lake, CA on Friday.
Zac, who was at Cedars-Sinai Medical earlier this week for an emergency appendectomy, appeared healthy and in good spirits as he made a mad dash from Baby V’s favourite eatery to her car.
Meanwhile, the 20-year-old boyhunk is getting prepared for a possibly career-making role in a New York Period drama based on an adaptation of the Robert Kaplow novel Me and Orson Welles.
The movie will be directed by Richard Linklater, who did Dazed and Confused and Fast Food Nation.
The film will begin shooting next month in locations in New York, London and the Isle of Man. He will then return to the Disney mega-franchise in April.

These kids should not be worshipped ( which they are by millions and millions of teens), I am sure they all suffer a HUGE God complex.

Those are faces only a mother and a plastic surgeon could find ‘interesting’. So so plain and what’s with the track outfits? Where is the glamour of Hollywood of yore?!
In my daaaaaaaaaay……

I don’t see why they shouldn’t be worshipped? Aside from little Vanessa’s nude scandal they seem like pretty good role models for kids! I’d much rather my neice looking up to them than Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan. Theee kids have obviously worked hard to get where they are today and for the most part they are well behaved. Sure they can be a bit annoying, but what child stars aren’t?

Stephi’s right. They’re no more annoying than any other new faces in entertainment. I’d rather see their faces–entertainers who actually WORK for a living, and have some talent, than faces like Kim Kardashian’s, who is simply a publicity whore and has no redeeming qualities.

I agree with Stphi and just askin’. High School Musical isn’t something most adults could sit through without wanting to do physical harm to the tv screen, but the kids love it and the stars in it. They’ll grow up and their tastes will change, and will be going Zac who in a few years.
