Supermodels-turned-bad girls Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss join forces for the February issue of Vogue Paris.
After all the drugs, stints in rehab and court cases, these two fierce divas remain as the only two consistently working supermodels of the original batch.

Yay, love me some supermodels. I’m not into Kate the druggie, but I loooove NaNa. Sure she is a little agressive, but aren’t we all? LOL

Shell is right. NaNa is a crazy bitch but I like her, at least she’s upfront about it and she still looks fierce whereas Kate acts like some kind of teenager thats just made their first million. She’s still spotty, immature, smokes to look cool and hangs out ‘with t’ wrong crowd’

They both look as gorgeous as always. Kate and Naomi aren’t conventional beauties but they have great bone structures and they know how to take great photos that’s for sure. I’m loving Kate’s bangs!

I am a hard and true Kate lover, thought she couldnt take a bad pic. but, and i never thought Id hear myself say this, but for the last year and a half she’s just been looking goddamn tired. Truly sad.
Naomi, she’s long past middle aged and has been looking thick for years.
verdict: long in the tooth. Naomi far more than Kate but theres nowhere to go but down (or plastic, and we can always tell..) from here..

speaking of violet bitches, I love Foxy Brown’s judge. She wrote him a letter begging to get out, and this was his response:

umm…. christy turlington is still working and has been doing so since the mid 80’s a good 5 years longer than either kate or Naomi

curious, Kate was later than Turlington, but Naomi is from the sme time period…..I was in High School when those amazing models hit it big.

Christy started modeling at age 13 (1982) — I think she was about 15 or 16 (1984 or 1985) when she got her first spreads in Vogue - which puts her a bit before Naomi - - I think - maybe not 5 years - perhaps Naomi worked earlier in the UK as dancer. Christy signed an exclusive multimillion dollar contract with Calvin Klein in mid/late 80s which took her off the editorial pages for awhile - she managed to break or at least change the terms so she could do more work. I’m agreeing that the hit big at about the same time, but I do think Christy was working as model at least a bit before Naomi was doing fashion modeling.

why isn’t there insanely beautiful models like Linda, Cindy, Karen Mulder( if anyone remembers her) anymore? Now there all bony and just not insanely beautiful, for ex Giselle and Heidi, their attractive but not a shocking beauty.

^^^your talking about Karen Elson, Karen Mulder is a Danish blonde from the same era. She was a VS model is the early 90’s. Yes, Esther Candas is an amazing model, she is super exotic, almost like a blonde Angelina.

Kate was not one of the original Super Models– they hit the scene in the late 80’s Kate came along in the early 90’s

Well, to bring you all up to speed the original bunch were actually Linda, Christy, Naomi, Cindy, and Claudia! I don’t even really see Kate but she’s alright? She came during the second wave of upcoming models. But the originals Fabulous Five are the true “GRAND DAMES” so learn it!
