George Clooney is set to promote the UN’s peace-keeping efforts as the actor/producer/director/writer has been named the organization’s “messenger of peace.”
The 46-year-old actor will receive his designation at the end of the month at U.N. headquarters. He is the ninth U.N. messenger — people chosen from the fields of art, music, literature and sports — who have agreed to help focus attention on the United Nations’ work.
Next up for gorgeous George? Nobel prize!!!!

If he gets a Nobel Prize……..well I won’t mind too much but he better prove himself worthy by a LOOOONG shot and not just win because he’s hot and famous.

OMG, this has to be the most insane comments I read in a long time. Nobel prize…irrevelant??? Come one now. Just because YOU don’t agree with the fact Al Gore won one doesn’t make it a stupid or irrevelant prize. The Nobel price is one of the most importent prices and honours you can get.
