CONAN O’BRIEN DOES ‘ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY’

In need a good laugh? Then be sure to read Conan O’Brien’s strike diary at Entertainment Weekly. The late night funnyman shows what a monkey on his back the whole mess has been.

There was an eerie calm before the Strike hit, which made its arrival all the more terrifying. The sky darkened and the cruel November winds howled. Hell hath no fury like a Writer denied his appropriate Internet-participation formula. I was tossed about my quarters like a rag doll, gasping for air and struggling against the relentless tide of angry industry chatter. Then all was blackness…

^and as far as “5th grade humor”, I’ve studied and done extensive research in astrophysics. Big fucking deal. Funny is funny whether it’s slapstick or “intellectual” humor. People like you, ttt, who are insecure douchebags masquerading as intellectuals are the degradation of society. And by the way, hypocrite, being on a celebrity gossip blog doesn’t exactly qualify as intellectual stimulation.

^Your adoration for that man is intense ;o). ttt just made a simple comment, leave it at that.

The whole concept is cute. His beard is growing on me… And what’s with the Leno talk? What’s going on?

Aysla, let me clear this up for you — it’s not that I love Conan SO much, it’s that I hate pretentious cunts who insult other people’s intelligence because of their own insecurities. My comment to ttt was in response to the obvious insult that anyone who likes Conan’s brand of humor likes immature, unintelligent comedy (or did you not make that obvious connection?). This is a forum. We can respond to or ignore whomever we want. Let’s leave it at that.

Well, I was referring to the name-calling. As for Leno… I had no idea. I’m so out of the loop regarding the entertainment industry, unless it’s posted on this blog.

it;s true leno pulls in double the ratings of letterman and is the king of late night. it just doesn’t make sense that they’re forcing him out over conan whom has a third of leno’s viewers.
