All the hoopla that place after exes Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake greeted each other with a kiss at the premiere of ‘Shrek the Third’ over the weekend was no big deal, the newly blonde actress told Meredith Vieira on the ‘Today’ show today.
“Look, we’re friends so it’s OK,†she said. “It’s not something that you really worry about. I think all you want is for the person that you care about to be happy. And I think we both are, so it’s easy for us to see each other. And it’s easy for us to greet each other. Even underneath the microscope of the world, it’s not really that difficult, you know, because there’s nothing big about it, it’s no big deal. It’s like high school isn’t it? We as celebrities are sort of like popular kids and everybody wants to know our business, so people make a big deal out of it but it’s not really a big deal at all.â€

I agree with her. Everyone seems to care so much about other people’s business in high school and if two exes used to be at a party together it would always be like ‘oooo i wonder if he will talk to her’. I think she hit the nail on the head. I think she seems pretty down to earth but I get the feeling the break up hurt her a bit more than she’s saying. But she really has every right not to tell the press her every feeling and every bit of the truth.
