Season 7 of American Idol kicked off last night in Philadelphia, and to no surprise, the auditions were hideous!
From the Paula Abdul stalker who had to be escorted out the building to the caped Don’t Cha singer who waxed his entire body to impress the judges, last night’s show was a true smorgosbord of freaks.
Our fave contestant had to be Star Wars junkie Christina Tolisano,who sang Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me.
Could she be anymore fabulous?

of a show. Why NOT have a William Hung type stay around for a bit? It’s all mindless spectacle, anyway.

example.. amy winehouse is NOT cookie cutter.. but the bitch can sing.. she has talent.. soooooo.. they showed pics of people that got through after she said that and they were proving a point.. the all looked different and weren’t barbie dolls… RUEBEN STUDDARD is not barbie doll nor was fantasia.. but guess what.. THEY COULD SING!!!!!!!

If it were purely for the singers/singing they wouldn’t show the rejects. Period.
To ONLY 1, I call bullshit on that because they show the people who CAN’T sing for ratings. Are you kidding me?!!
She wasn’t even a bad singer. She may not be recording-contract good, but it’s not like I want to cover my ears or anything. The only thing that bothers me is that if she knows they reject dorks, why did she go to such great lengths to dress like one? Not that I’d want to take away her individuality, but if you’re a square peg trying to fit into a round hole, maybe it’s time to change shapes.
