THIS AIN’T NO ORDINARY SCHOOL DANCE

Fergie offered fans a preview of her solo show last night with a private concert for contest winners at Franklin High School in Seattle.

Her 20-city tour — which is going green by opting for cell phone photo-message passes over paper tickets — officially kicks off May 21 with a show in Pittsburgh.

The Fergalicious One is also the June cover girl for Seventeen, and contributed a ‘Letter to Me at 17′ to the mag. The 32-year-old songstres calls out her 17-year-old self’s “giant bangs” and “bad perm” but congratulates her for not compromising her principles or disrespecting her body.

[Insert witty plastic surgery jokes here.]

So I guess being a methhead doesn’t compromise your principles or disrespect your body. Sweet.

I think that she is a great role model for girls. She is a realistic role model because she went through addiction and came out of it and made herself into a star. She was really at the bottom of the heap and it wouldn’t have been easy to get where she is today. And how much does that guy behind her look like 50 cent!!?

    I like Fergie but…
She must’ve become a meth addict on the stroke of her 18th birthday or thereafter, cos otherwise her 17-year-old self was in denial!
