Joined by their increasingly adorable 2-year-old daughter Violet, perflectly paired couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner head to their car after stopping for coffee and picking up a few toys at the Brentwood Country Mart in Brentwood, CA on Saturday.

The happy family has recently returned to L.A. after spending the winter in New York City where Jennifer was performing on Broadway.

As for any news regarding this Hollywood family, it may be that there’s no news at all! According to Jen’s IMDB profile, the 35-year-old actress has no projects lined up for 2008. Hmm…could more babies be in store?

It’s certainly no secret that the Juno actress wants another child. In an interview with British Marie Claire magazine, she was quoted as saying: “I’m assuming we’ll have at least one more, but not for a while.”

That was last April.

A new year, a new outlook?

    I think they seem like a sweet family. She doesn’t really strike me as his type though…although you never really know. She’s probably not as boring as she comes across. She may be kind of plain but she seems like a really good mom to her little girl, who I think is pretty cute by the way.

    Jen has 2 new movies she is about to start shooting next month and Ben is about to start shooting a new movie as well I am guessing a new baby next year!

    I hope they have more. They are amazing parents. That baby always looks happy…unlike sullen Suri…
    As for Violet being ugly - if you see side by side comparisons of Violet and Jen at 2 yrs old, the pics are nearly identical. She’d going to grow up a beauty!

    There are rumours flying that Ben & Jen are not a stable couple. So I doubt another baby is lined up in their future.

    i’ve always had this feeling. why does he hardly help her carry things, like his child. or her coffee when jen is carrying the child. or the paper bag. i know this seems nit-picky, but she seems to be doing most of the carrying/work when they’re together.

    What a bunch of negative freaks you all are!!! you have nothing whatsoever to base your negativity on, except perhaps jealousy. Yes, Jen Garner gets all the cute guys and you don’t!
    THey are well known as a happily married couple, the exact opposite of what #12 says. She has said she wants another baby in 2009! (in an interview two weeks ago)

    i really like them, so i’m rooting for them to stay together. ben looks pretty cute here. i’ve always thought violet was one of the cuter celeb babies, but that’s just me.
    jen’s “coat” is kind of weird. a short sleeve coat?

    I like them together, and I love love Ben’s bedroom eyes. I hope they last, but I doubt they will. It’ll be another Ryan/Reece relationship I think.

    I love this couple BUT I notice two things about them: 1) they are never seen holding hands or arms draped around one another and, 2) Jennifer is almost ALWAYS the one holding or pushing Violet, when snapped with Ben. I hope she hasn’t turned into one of those possessed mommies that won’t let daddy near the kids….I have seen my share of those women. ugh.

    Okay, I follow celeb gossip pretty religiously, and I think you guys are stretching it just a bit here. Yes, Violet is usually in Jen’s arms…that doesn’t necessarily mean that mom is possessive, but maybe Violet is just a mommy’s girl? Kids usually tend to gravitate toward one parent or another. This isn’t abnormal behavior here, folks. It’s also normal for a couple to be less “lovey-dovey” when they have a small child. It usually takes a little while for mom to get her groove back. I think they’re a cute family, and I hope they break the Hollywood trend of having spoiled children and failing marriages. Hey, someone has to do it, right?

    Do you think Ben could open the car door for her because she is carrying Violet, Ben has no manners and is not a gentleman. Jennifer doesn’t look her happy self in those pictures. I think there marriage is on the rocks.

    I guess she finally let him come home. Wasn’t he banned from the home until the holidays or something like that? Poor Ben…he looks like he’d rather be chewing his own arm off than spend time with Jen. The man loves himself some hookers and, face it, Jen is rather homely and a major YAWN. It’s only a matter of time before he’s cheating or they’re over completely. I hate fake ass Hollywood couples!
