Troubled tabloid star Paris Hilton has given marching orders to her criminal defense lawyer, Howard Weitzman, and instead hired Richard Hutton, who specializes in DUI cases, reports TMZ.
A tearful Paris and her mother Kathy were seen leaving her lawyer’s office yesterday and driving off in their Mercedes. It was waterworks at its best.

On the bright side, Paris is not doing the driving this time.

i don’t understand everyone going on about her ’sense of entitlement’ … every kid from a wealthy family has a sense of entitlement whether from L.A, N.Y, London, Paris …. wherever! If you grow up with a lot of money then you learn nothing about consequence & moneys always available to sort out any problems you have whether that means rehab, lawyers etc… I know it may not be right & unfair to those in the world that can’t afford top lawyers, rehab etc… but thats just the way life is …. I don’t think she’s any different from any other kid from a wealthy family, she’s not looking for any special celeb treatment … she’s just brought up believeing nothing has a consequence & money can fix everything … I think we all have to remember that the Paris Hilton we see on t.v & the internet isn’t the real Paris Hilton … in reality she’s just an insecure, shy little girl crying in the car with her mom … i know it’s hard to imagine she’s shy etc… but it’s so so true, her public image is all an act …

^^^^ Sorry… I don’t buy that. Everyone is raised a special way that helps makes them who they are. However we ALL come to the point where WE make the choice to be a certain way. She has chosen to be a selfish, conceited, whoring WOMAN, not a little girl. She chose to be the way she is, so SHE needs to own up.
Seeing her cry does tug at the heart strings, but she is feeling a fraction of the hurt of people she has used, abused, and insulted. And none of the hurt she will feel when she is old, and alone with her valtrex.

everyone on here seems to think they’re fucking experts about her … none of you idiots know her so how can you call her “evil” “manipulative” etc… she takes drugs [as do many 20 yr olds], she made a sex tape with a boyfriend at 19 [how many other girls have done the exact same], she’s said things in private that perhaps she shouldn’t have [everyone in the universe has done the same] … If all out lives were documented, photographed & recorded 24/7 … if people around us could make $$$ by sellinf videos, pics etc… to the media …. would all our lives be perfect? would we see anything we regretted? OF COURSE WE WOULD! I’m not a Paris fan but she really hasn’t done anything that warrants all the nastiness & shit she has to put up with … yeah, she puts herself out there but she doesn’t deserve a sex tape getting leaked, her storage locker & all her personal effects getting beamed to the world thorugh a webpage … At the end of the day she’s a human being thats made mistakes … just like the rest of us …. but thankfully our lives aren’t beamed to the world & every little thing we do dissected on websites & in magazines … cut the poor girl some slack!

You know why? She MADE A DEAL WITH THE GUYS. The stuff can be shown now, because SHE IS MAKING MONEY OFF OF IT. How do I know? I know one of the guys who owns the stoage facility.

What about all those “regular” repeat DUI offenders that get off the hook? Local news pages are full of stories of alcoholics allowed to drive until they eventually kill someone. Sending one pampered socialite to jail will do nothing but fuel headlines. Real laws and enforcement need to be changed to make a real difference.

Oh Please! Her window is down, this is all for show!! She’s just having a wake up call, this time $$ won’t buy her way out. And it’s not just about the DUI, it’s NUMEROUS probation violations! She didn’t even ENROLL in the mandated class, AND she wouldn’t do community service in exchange for a shorter probation period AND well, she’s just really really vapid. And I shouldn’t be judging.

i dont even know what to think anymore….all you people comments are clouding my judgement. regardless i feel bad for her because jail really is not the place for her….also how come Paris’s judge was so strict on her? Michelle Rodriguez wasnt put to that strict of sentence…so thats why she got let out early but Paris’ judge made it so can she get released early…why so wrong about what she did compared to Michelle, she got caught drunk driving TWICE.

While Paris was lost in a certain attorney’s office the other day, my gracious friend, the attorney’s assistant, found Paris walking circles around white-walled hallways and politely directed her to the appropriate office. With not one single word or even a head nod of gratitude, Paris puts her phone to her ear like she was on a phone call all of a sudden and walked to the correct office..wasn’t she just begging people to sign her “petition to ah-nold” to get her out of jail???? One way or the other, I have to blame her mother for part of this - Kathy seems to be proud of her daughter’s foolish actions again and again. They have not forced this girl to be responsible in any way. Now she is paying for her stupid behavior. Didn’t the Hiltons ever watch Willie Wonka?

It definately is all for show, the window is down. She manipulates the media all the time, everything she does is for publicity and for the media (stepping out of her car without panties MANY times, etc,)
It is good that she got the sentence, let’s those young celebs know that they can’t keep doing these things and not have a price to pay. Lil Kim had to do it for a longer time (a year???), they have to learn a lesson.

I’m sorry but she is definately not crying for attention. If I was sentenced to prison I would be bawling my eyes out 24/7. I don’t think this should have filmed. It was a private moment between mother and daughter and its really cruel for people to be entertained by someones sadness, whether you hate her or not.

Stephi, although I think the crying is genuine, the car window being down is for show. Who (besides smokers) drives with their windows down in NINETY FIVE degree heat?
