Dad-to-be Joel Madden brother Josh revealed to Us Weekly last night that Joel and Nicole Richie are expecting their baby any day now!

“I think it’s sometime in the next week, that’s all we know,” he told reporters Wednesday night. “We don’t know what it is, we don’t know any names.”

As for this thoughts on what kind of dad Joel will be? “He’s always had kids at heart. He kind of modeled his life like a role model and I’d say if he was having a kid or not that everything he’s done from the start is just going to be continued on.”

Meanwhile, as the delivery date nears, Nicole is reportedly seeking the help of a hypnotist to help alleviate fears of pain.

    This baby is either going to have good parents, or shit ones.
    All I can do is sit by and see for myself.

    i must admit she has grown on me. she’s stayed out of the limelight (mostly) during the pregnancy, and even has done good, charity work.

    I think they will be good parents. I’ve met the Maddens a few times.. lots of people I know grew up with them in Maryland… They are good guys… very cool, polite and genuine. Obviously (as I said from the start) he was gonna bring that out in Nicole b/c he saw something in her, he knew she had it in her to be a good person and do the right things. They will be great parents and their baby will have a great family (atleast with the Maddens).
