Vince Vaughn’s Wild West Comedy Show star Vince Vaughn dishes on ex-gal pal Jennifer Aniston, his troubled BFF Owen Wilson and puts to rest those Reese Withspoon rumours in the upcoming issue of Parade magazine.
Vince on rumours of a feud with his Four Christmases costar Reese Witherspoon: “I think there were stories that we were clashing on the set. That couldn’t be further from the truth. I adore her. She’s not only a great actress, she’s very funny. We’ve been having a really good time. You predicted that the press would say that we were dating, but they went the other way and said we’re fighting. The two of us get along great.”Vince on Owen Wilson: “Owen Wilson is still a very close friend. Honestly, he’s the nicest, smartest, greatest guy in the world. I don’t really know what happened to him, truthfully, and I don’t really care. I don’t think anyone knows. Everyone has stuff to go through. We all do in life.”
Vince on Jennifer Aniston: “I have such a great friendship with Jennifer. I still talk to her constantly. I have a real, genuine connection with Jen.”
Vince on what went wrong: “People date, and sometimes it works out, and sometimes it doesn’t.”
Vince on settling down: “I don’t run away from [the responsibility of having a family], but I’ve never been to the point where I’ve felt like, ‘Wow, this makes sense.’â€

I’ve liked Vince since I saw him in Clay Pigeons years ago. Somehow these pictures suit him very well, the goofiness of them in particular.
yeah i love me some vince too…….funny, and goodlooking.
I agree with you both…I LOVE this guy!
I liked the interview… Pretty simple, straight forward.
They were never a couple, it was all an ambiguous act for tabloids, to promote the movie. They were friends, that is why they still are friends, nothing changed. The whole romance thing was invented that is why HE HAS TO TALK IN AMBIGUITIES OR GENERALITIES ABOUT IT. Fact is Vince doesn’t date women, ever. He is in the closet and studios cant sell gay to middle America. She just wanted the tabloids off her back so they faked it all up after intense pressure. He was producing and they both knew would make extra money with this kind of publicity and she would finally get the box office hit she needed, after he last 3 films didn’t get the success they deserved.
I have never found him good looking at all, a pretty average joe if you ask me. But I think he is very funny and he comes across as a really down to earth chilled sort of guy that doesn’t get too caught up in the gossipy, Hollywood scene.
he sounds like he’s full of crap. “I think there were stories that we were clashing on the set.”… c’mon, give me a break!
bloated and making bad movies… what’s not to love… just kidding, I dig him… I wonder what ever happened to that college chick he spent the night with… the wannabe actress he spent the night with…?
rent the movie Clay Pigeons…. really good movie, and you will like Vince in it….
BFF Owen Wilson? No way! I think his comment about Owen is the only honest thing he said - especially when he said that he doesn’t really know what happened to him. They never seemed to be close friends to me. Although I still don’t get the “… and I really don’t care” part. Sounds like he’s subtly excusing
OW’s drug use because if not, why would VV claim not to care about his “very close friend’s” mental health? Also agree that he never really dated Jennifer Aniston (although I don’t think he’s gay) and that Reese Witherspoon probably really DOES hate him! (And why would he think the press would make up stories about them dating when everyone knows that Reese is dating Jake Gyllenhall?)
Never watched Clay Pidgeons, but Return to Paradise is one of my favorite movies. Rent it!
i dont get why he says he’s close to owen wilson then says he doesnt care what happened to him
i ADORE him!!!
11:17 - That’s just what I was thinking when I read that! I THINK that he meant that he didn’t care if OW’s “incident” was the culmination of an extended period of hard-drug use (subtly giving Owen a pass). It’s probably that or Vince just didn’t express his thought correctly. Either explanation is plausible, although Vince’s statements DID come off as a contradiction, maybe even a bit callous. Like I said before, I don’t think Vince and Owen are such great friends anyway. In the “Wedding Crashers” DVD commentary, Vince came off as pretty full of himself and hardly even gave Owen a chance to speak!
