Celebrity train wreck Tara Reid is denying accuastions that she’s suffering from an eating disordering after recent and shocking photos of her in Bali surfaced. She tells OK! magazine, “I’m not too thin. I go up 10 pounds, I go down 10 pounds.”
Tara on being unable to please anyone: “I was thin for a movie that I just finished [the upcoming horror film Vipers]. Now they’re going to see me and say I’m too fat because I’ve gained 10 pounds… I can’t win!”
Tara on not being who the tabloids say she is: “I don’t like going out every single night. I like to hang with friends and eat and sit next to a fire — that to me is the best night.”
Tara on the constant criticism of her alleged party-girl lifestyle: “What have I ever really done? Dance on a table? Who doesn’t drink with their friends and have a good time? I don’t understand why people punish others for being happy. If I have a drink in my hand, it doesn’t make me an alcoholic. If I want a glass of wine, I want a glass of wine. I shouldn’t be afraid of it because of what the media might say. Anything you do, you’re screwed. That’s the lesson I’ve learned.”

True, and in Hollyweirds light, once you get a lable, it is damn near impossible to change that.
I think she’s right about her assessment of her party-girl lifestyle. After all, she is single. It’s not like she has two kids and is in a heated custody battle with her ex.

What’s wrong with the party-girl image? It’s better than another blonde celebrity who’s being labelled an absolute wreck of a mother. I’d rather be called a party-girl than a bad mother.
ok she was way too skinny and i did thinks she looked ill, but like everyone has already said she has got the whole media label pegged, and also as a free single lady with no children she can do whatever the hell she likes guilt and judgement free imo.

She does have a point, but I think she partied to a degree where is started to affect other aspects of her life like her career. She needs to realise that while its all well and good for her to party every night and drink wine whenever she wants…its all about how the industry perceives you. If they think you party too much and aren’t reliable to show up onto movie sets…they won’t hire you. Tara had all the opportunities in the world after American Pie and she blew it. Very rarely are celebrities given second chances in Hollywood.
