Britney Spears’ Mercedes was towed last night, but no worries — she always has another car she can drive. It’s Mrs Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous, y’all!
After last night’s flat tire fiasco, Brit-Brit was seen in her black Escalade with her assistant Carla at the gas station on Sunset in Bel Air. We definitely haven’t seen her in the Escalade since the days she used to have bodyguards. This is the same SUV that she used to ride around in, with one of her bodyguards at the wheel. Oh, how times have changed!
After having a smoke (at the gas station!) with her yorkie pup London on her lap, Brit and her right-hand gal made their way to her Malibu house. The troubled pop princess seemed in somewhat good spirits given her recent hospital stay and losing custody of her children for the time being.
Meanwhile, an unlikely ally has stepped out in support of Britney. At last night’s 27 Dresses premiere, Grey’s Anatomy beauty Katherine Heigl told reporters: “I can’t possibly imagine what that young girl is going through. It’s so beyond my realm of understanding. All I can wish for her is compassion — is that people maybe will just back off and leave her alone and let her get through whatever it is she’s going through quietly — which will never happen and is a stupid, silly pipe dream. But I just hope in the process that even with all this attention people can find it in their hearts to be compassionate and not so judgmental.”

Thank you Katherine Heigl, people who are so judgmental should stop and look around. Not everyone’s lives are perfect. Britney is unfortunate because she has to face her problems to the world. Let this girl be and deal with her problems by herself.

What a joke. The only reason Britney’s problems are so public is because she chooses to make them public. No one is forcing her to live in the TMZ. She’s a publicity whore. She could care less what we think about her as long as we keep looking at her. The last thing she wants is for us to leave her alone.

As nice a sentiment as that is from Heigl, it’s a bit patronising - Brit’s only about three years younger than Katherine, so calling her a “young girl” is a bit much.
It’s funny that Arasto would run that entire Heigl quote and then turn around and make such a snarky comment. It’s much easy to make fun of something serious then address it with compassion.
I feel so sorry for Britney. I mean she only makes about $750,000.00 a month. I mean how is she supposed to afford the help she so desperately needs. After all, fraps and fast food add up after a while. Imagine all this time I have been sympathetic to people who want help but are unable to get it, and I now realize my sympathy should have been reserved for someone who can get help, but is unwilling. On another note, it is so nice to know that Katherine Heigl is filled with empathy and forgiveness for the “girl” and I’m sure both Isaiah Washington and Judd Apatow would like to be introduced to the new and improved Katherine. Sarcasm aside, it would be nice if some of these well meaning celebs would express the least bit of sympathy for her innocent children.
