Britney Spears’ rather talkative aunt (by marriage!), Chanda McGovern, is speaking out about her troubled neice.
In a new interview with Page Six, McGovern, who used to be married to Britney’s uncle, says she’s worried that Britney may take her own life!!
Chanda on what Britney needs most: “She needs real psychological help before she can move forward…I think her children not being there with her has just caused her to be in a major state of depression.”
Chanda on mama Lynne’s primary focus: “I believe right now Lynne’s primary focus is on Jamie Lynn. And she’s not multitasking and handling two crisises at once and she needs to be able to. For her girls, she needs to be there.”
Chanda on her worst fear for Britney: “I’m afraid she’s going to take her own life.”
Chanda’s message to Britney: “You can only go up right now. There’s not too much more bottom that you can go. Get your head on straight. Look deep into your heart and think — think about the boys.
Chanda’s message to Jamie Lynn: “If I could talk to Jamie Lynn right now, if she was here with us, I would tell her, you know, you’ve made some bad choices in your life, but you can always turn it back around. Do right by your child. Please do not follow in Britney’s footsteps as far as not being there for your children and spiraling downhill.”
Chanda’s final words: “True Louisiana redneck girls. Get back to your roots and the way you were brought up!”

Jamie Lynn fucked up big time but, in the end, she will turn out just fine. Britney, on the other hand, will most certainly kill herself.
