CELEBRITY QUOTE OF THE DAY

dr_phil_mcgraw.jpg

“My meeting with Britney and some family members this morning in her room at Cedars leaves me convinced more than ever that she is in dire need of both medical and psychological intervention. She was released moments before my arrival and was packing when I entered the room. We visited for about an hour before I walked with her to her car. I am very concerned for her.”

Dr. Phil makes a statement to Entertainment Tonight regarding his surprise visit to Britney Spears this morning

(Rumours are running rampant that Britney may make an appearance on The Dr. Phil Show, which is set to tape Monday and air Wednesday. Stay tuned!!)

What an attention seeking Mother Fu&ker is Dr. Phill!!!!! An unqulified one who isn’t even a certified physician.

I don’t care if people say I’m defending her.PSL, it’s not that she dosen’t want help. She thinks she dosen’t need help. #1 symptom for any mental condition is DENIAL…just saying.

Please lord let her go on Dr. Phil. That would be the funniest hour of all time. We haven’t gotten a good interview out oh her since the Matt Lauer one when she was pregnant with Jayden.

I can’t stand this piece of shit. Who does he think he is? It’s none of his goddamned business. Media whore.

I agree with you there hotstuff. But someone has to so SOMETHING. Someone is going to wind up dead if she doesn’t.

i agree with supernova…at this time, “Doctor” Phil doesnt need to be trying to help Britney. It just looks like he’s in it for the ratings. And by the way, that interview would be tragic.

OMG IT’S BRITNEY BRITNEY BRTNEY BRITNEY.. She certainly managed what she was trying to achieve; If possible an even higher amount of articles on her on a daily basis, and people are eating it up. I am going to be sick.

I don’t have an issue with him trying to help her, I personally think he would be quite effective in getting her back on the right path, but why put it on the show???
This issue doesn’t need anymore media attention than it already has.

i think if she makes it thru all this and manages to get herself back on track, and then does an honest open interview, that would be worth watching, but i feel shes a long way away from that point yet and watching anything she has to say now is either lies or explotation by the people producing it.

He makes me fucking sick. Yea, he really cares about Britney. Ratings, period. How can he even look at himself in the mirror (other then for the obvious reasons that he is physically repulsive as well)?

when (or IF) she cleans up…she should go sit on Oprah’s couch for that open honest interview. Oprah will treat her right.

i agree. oprah would lend more creedance to the situation than phil.

We need a bigger picture of Dr. Phil on this page.

    It’s not big enough!!

Uhm I don’t think waiting around in the hospital and sneaking in someone’s room as they are going means you were ‘there to help’ or actually did anything. He probably tried to get a scandalous shot for the paps

He’s friendly with her mom isn’t he? Maybe Brit and “doc” were acquainted already. Either way, I could not care less… and yet I’m posting :o).

I think the only thing that could happen to ‘wake up’ our Miss American Nightmare would be some horrible tragedy. And even then I have doubts. She’s trailer trash. She’s proven that now, and that’s incurable disease, unfortunately. This is only going to get uglier and uglier until… I hate to say it, but until she’s dead, I think. Not wishing it, but I just don’t see how else this could go. She’s addicted to the attention as well as a lot of other things. But like most addicts, she’ll never really recover. The big question in my mind is, when are we going to get sick enough of hearing about her that the stories won’t sell papers and blogs anymore? Cuz that’s the real reason why we continue to be sucked into her dysfunction. Please, Arasto, give us something else to read.

God, I can’t stand this guy. His self-importance stinks up any room. And then he turns around and makes a statement to the press. What about patient-doctor confidentiality? Granted, I have no clue if she is a formal patient, but still, any mental health professional who has contact with Brit should and would keep their trap shut under circumstances like these. So much for being a professional…..

God it doesn’t take a genius to figure out that Britney has pshychological problems. I personally don’t like Dr Phil, I feel like talking about people’s personal problems on TV is absolutely pathetic and its all about the money for him. He’s much too judgemental as well and a lot of the snide little comments he makes on the show are purely for laughs from the audience. It would be a big mistake for Britney to appear on the show as I think he would just make a mockery of her. She needs a real doctor not someone like Dr freaking Phil. I agree that Oprah would be a better choice for Britney, a lot more understanding and less critical of other people.

Psychological problems, my ass. This is another publicity stunt. Does anyone really believe that Dr. Phil “just happened” to show up at Cedars, in conjunction with the rumor that she’s going to appear on his show? That bitch is crazy like a fox.

So much for patient/doctor confidentiality. He just broke HIPAA law. Fucker

Did he try to pass one of his diet books off to her and tell her the root of all her problems stems from lack of self esteem due to her being over weight?
