While most Hollywood starlets worship the sun like flashes from a photog, there stands a lone and very pale Elisha Cuthbert.
The former 24 actress is currently in sunny Miami to ring in the new year, but unlike her orange-skinned contemporaries, Elisha opted to forego the pre-countdown tanning and subsequent cancer on-set.
Looking awfully covered up in a black and white makeshift burqa, the 25-year-old Canadian actress briefly enjoyed a stroll on the beach before joining pals inside her exclusive 5-star hotel.

That guy looks like Jonathan Rhys Meyers. Maybe she’s filming a movie that broke for Christmas. Since they shoot out of sequence she can’t get tan.
I don’t begrudge her for avoiding the sun, but if that’s the plan, why go to the beach?
