It’s another day, another drama for the Spears family.
The latest? Resident black sheep Britney may soon be on her way to jail if she misses one more court-ordered deposition.
“She could go to jail for contempt of court if she refuses to show,” one legal eagle confirms to OK!. “That would be extreme for a child custody hearing, but not outside the realm of possibility.” More likely, explains the courtroom insider, K-Fed’s team could ask the court to impose monetary sanctions on Britney, who is already footing the bill for Kevin’s legal expenses!
If Brit’s 6 previously missed scheduled attempts at being deposed are any indication, the guards at Lynwood Correcttional Facility better prepare for their latest celebrity inmate du jour.
Meanwhile, things aren’t looking too good for Brit’s mom Lynne either. Us Weekly is going to town on the 52-year-old stage mom for the family’s recent troubles.
Alexa Nikolas, 3-month-pregnant Jamie’s Zoey 101 costar, says: “Jamie wanted something different for her life, and her mom put her in situations she didn’t want to be.”
Adds a Spears family insider: “Lynne “treats her girls like a piggy bank. Lynne got all her money through those girls and loved it when it started rolling in.”
Proof of just what a scumbagstress she reallly is? Lynne avoided telling Britney the shocking news that her little sister was knocked up because she “didn’t want her to screw up the deal” she struck with OK! magaine.
A deal which will reportedly reel her in a cool $1 million.

She’s like that mum of the Carters. I saw a few episode of that disaster reality show Nick Carter did with his sisters and one of his sisters were an alcoholic, the other had a huge responsibility issue believing she should guard her mom and their brother Aaron was total f***ed up in every way.
Lynne is no different, she sold out Britney until BS ran away to money-seeker K-Fed and popped out two kids coz mum didn’t even teach what birth control is. It wasn’t that important - BS also lived with her boyfriend at age 14 and then Lynne sent the boy away coz he could be a damage to her virgin image. But Lynne didn’t have enough so she sold out JL as well.
It’s a shame especially when seeing moms like Justin Timberlake’s. Lynne Spears totally ruined her daughters life and it cannot ever be given back, their youth their time and their innocence. JL Spears will end up being a mess like Britney coz the reason behind her craziness is just being unhappy and lonely without seeing a way out of it. That’s what I think.

Lynne spears is an awful mother, no wonder those girls act the way they do. She needs to be investigated by child services and IRS-

I think they can only blame Lynne for so much. Did Lynne force the 16-year old to get pregnant? “Your parents make you what you are–it’s up to you to change it.” Harumph!

I don’t blame Lynn for Britney at all. She was 17 when she made it big so she had more than enough choice if she wanted to actually go for it. Even if your parents pushed you to be an entertainer look at the amount of money she has made! She should just be happy she will never have to worry about working for the rest of her life and she is 26. There are kids going through way worse than that and their are parents that are never there for their kids because they both work 2-3 jobs. She was lucky and continues to be lucky but she just has a lot of growing up to do. As far as Jamie Lynn goes, please almost all girls today have had sex by 16. Some get just caught because they get pregnant. I did it when I was 18 too, you are too stupid to make adult decisions when you are that young but you don’t know that. She should have been on birth control but no Mother every wants to believe her daughter is the one having sex. THEY ALL ARE! You should just put them on birth control when they are about 14-15 just in case. Better safe than sorry in my book.

I agree, but when both kids- 10 years apart are acting out like this, there is something wrong. you are correct, you should be held accountable for your own actions- Britney was really young when she started out in show biz and put so much pressure on those girls. she is supposed to be their parent not their manager. she did not and does not have their best interest at heart.
I think it was wrong for momma spears to pimp her 16 yearold on the cover a magazine announcing to the world she is preggers!! total dysfuntion in that house!!

that story seems true. i could see lynn spears pushing her daughters into things they dont want to do.

I agree with the voice. Two trainwrecks cannot be an accident. JLS is very young, and she hasn’t had negative publicity like the Disney HSN girl - or Emma Watson for the matter. By all appearances, she seemed low key and calm - until now. It breaks my heart to see Britney go from public toilet to toilet (and hotel room to hotel room and man to man) while her little boys are in the supposed better care of her mooch ex. She’s self-destructing, and she knows it. No mother cannot know what she’s doing - especially when there are young lives which can be irreparably damaged by her absence. Call me dramatic, but I think she’s immolating herself to punish her mother - or someone else who never valued her but gained from her. It’s her way of saying - like teenagers who self-mutilate - look I can have control over this by hurting myself more.
As for JLS, the story has just begun. So unfortunate.
And what does Lynne Spears say - she’s turning to prayer? Prayer?!!! How about taking responsibility for the situation? And summoning the girls’ father to step in help out the collapsing family?

This type of “celebrity families” are so fkd! How can you think that expecting your kid to desire fame and fortune based on looks is good for anyone?! Materialist values as the core values of the family are not going to create trascendant human beings! This familiy is not as weird in my opinion. And putting MAMA spears in the spotlight is not gonna take responsability out of the moronic kids! when is Britney going to take responsability on her life as an adult?
I don’t think blaming a stupid mother is the solution for an industry full of bimbos and pimps! That is the perfect smoke courtain.

I think its pretty harsh too just assume that somebody is a bad mother just because of their grown up daughter. I would hardly call Jamie Lynn a trainwreck…she’s a normal 16 year old girl who was just unlucky enough to fall pregnant. It doesn’t make her a bad person. Britney isn’t ‘bad’ either she’s just kind of spiralled downhill and succumbed to the pressures of fame. I don’t think it has anything to do with her upbringing. That would be really sad though if Lynne was a ’stage mom’…I’ve never kind of imagined her to be that way for some reason.
